Die Lynxpoints zählt man zwar zu den "neuen Farben", sind aber genau genommen keine neue Farbe, sondern nur eine Zeichnungsvarianten. Die Tabbystreifung, wie sie bei vielen anderen Katzenrassen in verschiedenster Ausprägung zu sehen ist, zeigt sich in den Points und fällt vor allem im Gesicht auf. Die Innenseite der Ohren erscheint heller, die Augenlider sind wie von einem Kajal umrahmt, das ganze Augen ist von einer hellen Brille umgeben. Der Nasenspiegel hat ebenfalls eine Umrahmung in der Pointfarbe und ist in der Mitte heller. Die Schnurrhaare scheinen aus dunklen Pünktchen auf den Schnurrhaarkissen zu wachsen. |
The Lynxpoints are said to belong to the "new colours", but in fact they are no
new colour, but only a new variation. The tabby markings (you can see different
kinds of them in a number of breeds) appear in the points only and especially
draw the attention to the face of the cat. The inside of the ears appears light, eye-lids dark, whereas the eye is surrounded by a white rim. The nose leather has a dark rim and displays a terracotta colour in the middle (shade depending on pointcolour). Whisker pads have dark spots with whiskers growing from these spots. |
